I have almost survived week one. I have logged all my food this week into My Fitness Pal. Very easy app and they seem to have everything listed in there! I was stunned to learn how many calories are in RICE! RICE! Come on, it's so not worth it. I love rice. But really, is it worth those calories! Arborio rice just about killed me! I had a physical on Monday and while I am very healthy in all my "numbers"... I am obese. I am 5'11 and a 1/2 and weight 274 pounds. My BMI is 38. To be healthy I need my BMI to be 25 or below. So I figured out that to achieve that I should weight 175 ish. WOW. That was alarming. I haven't weight that since I was 21. I am now 46. Alot of great things have happened in my wonderful life and along the way... I just gained weight....alot of weight.
