No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
I had a good day all around. There is stuff going on at work that I try to just put behind me and not think or talk about it beyond the school walls. But today as soon as my husband asked how my day went I vented for just a little too long. It's not the venting. It's the waste of time. Things won't change so why waste perfectly good air complaining about work when I could be doing pretty much anything else on the planet and it would be a LOT more fun and productive!
Monday. Spinning. Hot guy. Yep, I was there and soaked up every minute of his fine ass, great teaching style and genuine personality.

Hey sometimes we just need to vent to get rid of the negativity. It is hard sometimes not to. I've read all the books on it is how we deal with things, but sometimes it is hard not to let the negative crap get us down. My husband & I have had too much crap in our lives and it can ruin a perfectly good day. Going to spinning class must have really helped the mood. Especially with the nice scenery to boot. I can't wait for the 3 day weekend either. Nice to get a break from work.

Comment by Nubia on August 28, 2012 at 12:19pm Hot guy! Awesome, I need to go to our spinning class. All the instructors seem to be girls, boo. There's this thing I learned for dealing with anxiety and the ugly thoughts accompany it, it may work for the negative stuff. It's literally making a windshield wiper motion and telling yourself you're wiping away those thoughts. It's silly, ok, but once you learn to relate that motion with the idea of brushing those thoughts aside, it works.
You could try to look less crazy and do a "go away mosquito!" motion. Anyway, a good vent helps. But give it a limited amount of time. Time it, then be done with it.
You definitely have that motivation for spin! :P
Comment by Brandy on August 28, 2012 at 7:25pm Sometimes you just need to talk it out, get it out of your system, so that you can move on. Glad you were able to realize it was time to move on--and what better way than the eye candy at the gym! Your meal plan looks great!
Comment by Lynette S on August 28, 2012 at 10:29pm Venting is good, I just can't vent to my husband, he's a fixer. If I vent to hime he tells me 5000000000 ways I can solve the problem when I'll I really wanted to do was talk AT him. So you're lucky if your husband just listened!
I could use a hot spinning guy! Spinning scares the frack out of me, dang, I did it for about 3 day once and couldn't walk for a month ;) I need a hot guy to get me back on that saddle!
Comment by Dee on August 29, 2012 at 1:52pm If I recall, your husband no longer works at your school, right? Does he like his new job? Is there a place for you there? Glad you have some eye candy with your stress relief!
