No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

So my friend has managed to lose 85 pounds and is still going strong. SHe told me that when she plateaus for more than 2 weeks she does a short liquid protein diet (2-10 days) to get her body back into losing mode and break through her plateaus, then she resumes her 1200 calorie diet and exercise. So its now my third day on it and i've lost 7 pounds!! So happy! A few more days and I will go back to my 1200 calories. Happy happy girl here.

Thanks guys!!! Everyone's asking for progress pics of the 50+ pounds but i hate pics and always have. I still feel super fat and ugly so i don't feel omfortable taking the pics.

I know how you feel about pictures... but it's really not true.  You may not be where you want to be but your body does wonderful things for you Jessica.... enjoy the journey and be proud of how strong your body is to keep working for you in the midst of crazy life.  :)

The liquid protein diet is everything you take in must be liquified. I have a whey protein shake for breakfast lunch and dinner. then for morning snack i make a fruit smoothie and for afternoon snack i have a blended soup. You're still getting all your nutrition in but it causes your body to go back to it's burning state because it's giving your digestive tract a break and food no longer sits for a period of time. You drink at least 64 ounces of water a day and you do the diet for 2-10 days to break through your plateaus. I did this the very first week i ever started dieting and I lost 13 pounds. it also shrinks your stomach so that whenever you go back to your regular diet it takes alot less to make you full. It takes some discipline to do the liquid protein diet but it is totally worth it when you see that sale moving again after being stalled for awhile.

Oh, btw, be sure your blended soup is mostly good veggies and add a little spinach or kale to your fruit smoothie. You can't taste it and it gives you a super healthy boost.
