Wish I could see the other side of this

I really wish I could see the other side of this. I wish I could see the me that has accomplished this.  When I have a bad weigh in day it is so depressing and it really just ruins my  whole day. (My WW meeting is on a Sunday in the AM.) I put on 3.6lbs this week.  True it is that time of the month, true I did not track as well as usual.  But I worked out like a maniac!  I ran over 20 miles last week!  That is not even including my other workouts!

I feel like I will never get there sometimes and I just wish I could see the other side.

TOM can account for most of that gain.

I used to hate weigh ins because that stupid box on the floor would dictate my moods. One day I was in a bad mood while waiting to pick my daughter up from school and then I stopped myself wondering if someone asked me why I was like that-what I'd say--and it sounded absurd to me to be in a bad mood--to have my day ruined because of something so trivial--when others in the world have problems so much more serious and heartbreaking (ones who would be glad to change places with me in a heartbeat) so I stopped weighing in as often and started trying to take the news with a grain of salt-whether it was good or bad news.

Keep your chin up! :)

I have this vision in my head ... but can't seem to get there either.  However, I agree with Keem - when I stopped getting on the scale every day, I can keep going without being depressed.  So try to not to weigh in-between WW meetings.  You might could tell the ladies who weigh you not to tell you what the scale says and then have them hold your book for you.  Maybe only look once a month.

Either way - we can not let the scale dictate who we are.

I actually only weigh in at meetings I don't have a scale in the house. When I did I was CRAZY. So I got rid of it. but you feel really good like you did awesome then the scale tells a different story sometimes.

Focus on the 20 miles you ran last week! Forget the scale. You could take a laxative (not that I'm suggesting that  at all) and drop almost all of that weight. It's a fluctuation. You'll have a GREAT week this week!
