No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
Wicked was fabulous! Molly and I had an amazing day together! If you ever get the chance to see it.... you should! Sooooo good!!!
Things are going to get busy again around here. Monday we are going to the Olympics and then Tuesday we are flying home to the States for a 10 days. I am not sure what my internet situation will be like- but now that I am back here..... I don't want to be away. I will do my best to post and stay current. If not we will be back in England on August the 14th. I am going to take it one day at a time, one meal at a time during our travels. Control the meals I can and make wise choices on the meals I can't . I am going to put My Fitness Pal on my phone so I will have it with me.
My thinking is that I do really well when I am being strict. When we return to England in August- I am going to try the strict approach. It has worked so well for me in the past. I will then need to figure out a way to add moderation into the equation. Anyway- that is what I am thinking......
Have a great Friday everyone!!!!!

Comment by Melanie H. on July 27, 2012 at 4:21am wow! being so close to the whole olympics hype must be great! I wil check out the opening festivities on tv tonight!
just do whatever you can on your trip. you still have to enjoy it and don't be too hard on you. Enjoy your time back home but try not too get off track. moderation I guess... haha. moderation is so hard though! I believe in you!!
Did all of the actors have english accents?
I know--stupid question....
Have you learned to hear through the accents yet?
Comment by Jill Mace on July 27, 2012 at 8:46am @Keem- some of the accents had accents- but they were mild. (not a stupid question- I was curious myself)
I have not learned to hear through them yet. I have met one woman who has such a strong accent and uses tons of British slang that I never know what she is saying. I finally had the courage to tell her. We laugh about it now!
Comment by Melanie H. on July 27, 2012 at 9:04am I think it is really funny how people actually speak the same language but still don't understand each other that well because of different accents or dialects. I mae this experience quite a lot myself. I live right in the middle of the mountains and we have our own special dialect and you can tell looking at people's face that they haven't understood a word you were saying (e.g. ppl from zurich or any other bigish city).. it's funny :D
Comment by OneMoreTry on July 27, 2012 at 9:45am Wicked and the Olympics! Thats exciting. Safe travel back to the states.
Comment by Dee on July 27, 2012 at 1:47pm I have wanted to see Wicked for a long time. I actually think it was here for a bit in Sacramento but I missed it. Hopefully it will come again! I will help encourage you on MFP while you're traveling. I'm interested to see your strict approach, I know I need to work on not being too extreme, but I think I truly am too lax. I have to work to get to that 90% mark. Have fun in the Rebellious Colonies!
Comment by Angie Y on July 27, 2012 at 3:48pm My brother went to New York and watched that two years ago. He said it was AMAZING! I am jealous. Love musicals!!!! Glad you had a great time!
Comment by Lynn on July 27, 2012 at 4:48pm Enjoy the trip and hopefully we'll be hearing from you regularly! August 14th seems so far away!
Comment by Brandy on July 27, 2012 at 7:01pm Oh, how exciting seeing the Olympics! And I bet you can't wait to visit the states for a while. Enjoy. Can't wait for you to get back so we can hear how it all was!!
