No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
I passed another nice milestone today when I weighed in.
I have lost 20 pounds since July 1st. I'm very happy with that.
So now to take inventory:
55 pounds lost overall.
My goal for August is 10 pounds, so I have 2 more to lose
Still need to lose 85 pounds to get to goal. That's a lot, but it doesn't feel as bad as saying "I have to lose 130 more
pounds." or even "I still have to lose 100 pounds."
This morning I walked with my friend for a brisk 40 minute walk. We chatted, she left to go to work and I got on my bike shorts and rode for 25 minutes. It was a challenge, but other than time, it wasn't that difficult to extend my workout. I just really dislike riding through the "City" streets...too busy and noisy. I much prefer a nice state park or something.

Comment by Jessica on August 22, 2012 at 8:02pm Congrats on the loss. 20 pounds since July 1 is fantastic. You'll be at goal before you know it. Are there any rail to trail bike trails in your area? We have 2 near my home and I like them as the paths follow old railroad tracks and there are no cars. Just the bike trails themselves.

Jessica: I'm very glad, but it's weird to hear that "I" inspired somone.
Paula: Thank you and yes, we have rail trails but they are about a 30 minute drive from here. I might try it out on the weekend with the family.
