No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
So I know that I have been in and out of the blog zone lately but I thought I would provide you all with a summary of what I've been up to these days and where the heck the time has gone. Let's see... I was just about 25 weeks into my journey when I met my future husband and took an unplanned leave of absence from the entire weight loss process.
Since then we:
Started dating
Fell in love
Met each others family, friends, and kids
Moved him and his kids in to my house (I had two, he brought two ~ his other three are grown)
Got engaged
Got three of the four kids back to school and playing soccer
Dealt with a cancer diagnosis and treatment with his mother
Are dealing with my crazy work schedule (month end, year end, audit from our auditing firm, audit of prior fiscal years from the government, and field work for a research tax credit all due by 11/16)
Got married
AND gained 20 pounds (at least I did anyway)
So there you have it. It has been crazy to say the least and I'm not so thrilled about the whole 20 pound thing, but at least we made good use of the time! Now I'm struggling to keep a goal that I set for myself which was to weigh in less than 200 pounds by January 1, 2013. It's going to be tricky, but I'm going to try and pull it off anyway.
Could have been worse, right?
