And it's not what I wanted. I just wanted to have my knee back and since I stopped running, I cut back on calories. I lost almost three pounds or 2 plus water I was retaining from last week's extra salty stuff (a lot). If you're keeping track, I'm 2 pounds away from 130. I'm 5'4", and back in the normal range, I think. BMI, anyway.
My knee hurt after today's workout. Came home and foam rolled my medial quad--lower inner thigh--muscle, pain was gone immediately. UGH. I can't wait til my hubby gets paid more so I can see a doctor. Oh, yeah!! He starts the new position Monday! Thank you all for your prayers, kind words, and good vibes. I'm still shocked, this is such a good thing!!
Lol, my knee doesn't matter as much now. But, I lie, it does. I guess I have to buy a knee brace until I can see the doctor. Nothing is swollen, it hasn't hurt at all since the rolling. I don't know.
I went to see my sister and raided her book shelf. Took back an old book I'd bought at some time called BE A LOSER. Lol, ok. It's about the BodyFlex program, google it. I'm not sure, but I would like to work on my breathing.... The exercises look funny, best done at home by yourself with no mirrors. Lol.
I had around 300 extra calories today, including the ones I burned at the gym. Just to change thing up and because there was CAKE. I chose to have it because I wanted some and not because I couldn't say no to it. Does that make sense?
I'm not concerned about my weight loss this week because my mommy pouch is finally going away. Only a healthy diet gives you a flat belly, right? The pouch is the only area I have extra flabbiness going on, but it's going down. I want to keep you all updated in this BodyFlex thing, I'll post some videos!
