No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
Tomorrow is my first official weigh in but before the big day I want to celebrate a NSV (non scale victory). I usually bomb on the weekends and this weekend has been awesome even with two meals out. This for me is a major victory and just proves it is possible to have a weekend binge free.
On Thursday night which is when my weekend starts the family wanted Buffalo Wild Wings and I of course went along for the ride but I did some research first and discovered they have a Black Bean Burger that has pretty good stats, I believe 10 weight watchers points plus. I ordered the Black Bean Burger and it was pretty good, although not quite as good as the deep fried mango habanero wings. I decided to go with only half of the bun and I was full and satisfied. This for me was a great success because I was able to go out to eat and celebrate the fact that I had the night off from cooking, instead of stuffing myself and treating the food as my reward. Woo hoo, I always love a night off and the ability to sleep well with no heartburn and no guilty conscience.
Tomorrow is my first weight in and I am excited and hopeful. Hopeful that I have lost weight but confident that no matter what the scale says I have done an excellent job. I bought the Jillian Michales 12 week Transformation a few months ago and have done a couple of the workouts but have yet to stick out a week. This past week I worked out the 6 days required and I have felt better then ever. I really feel like I am on my way to permanent change and it is so exciting. Well I am off to bed so I am fully rested before my 5am workout.
Tell me more about the Jillian thing....
Comment by Connie D on October 1, 2012 at 7:09pm It is called Jillian Michaels Body Revolution, which is a 12 week cardio and strength training plan that gets progressively harder. The first month you have a set of 4 strenght training videos and 1 cardio video which you alternate, and then the second month there are a set of videos and so on. The videos are pretty awesome you work out 6 days per week, front of the body, back of the body, and cardio.
