No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
I slept until 9am today and I felt really good when I got up. I made the bed and cleaned up in the bedroom before getting ready for the day. Then I had a quick soup for lunch and headed to a meeting to start planning a training for the teachers at our school. I'm on a leadership committee that is helping to prepare teachers for some of the changes for this coming school year. Amid a new schedule, our teachers are also going to be faced with a constant construction zone, little to no computer/library materials available, and an influx of all-new staff to the building. It will be a learning curve for all of us!
I snacked a lot today. Mainly because hubby was home and snacking and instead of getting off my butt and getting some work done, I stayed on the couch with him. But not tomorrow! I know part of the reason is that my prescription meds make me tired and sleepy, but I need to fight it. :)
Here's the meal plan today:
B: none--slept in and then it was time for lunch :)
L: 1 bowl leftover corn chowder; 2 small slices of pizza at the meeting (It could have easily been 4 slices if not for having the soup beforehand!)
Snack: 1/4 small watermelon; handful of salt water taffy (left over from our trip to FL), and 5 tortilla chips with a few tablespoons of guacamole
D: 2 steak skewers with grilled veggie couscous--3/4 c. The recipe called for 1 1/2 c. couscous but after snacking, I thought that was way too much.
