No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
I haven't posted in awhile. Three weeks! I can't even believe it's been THAT long.
When you don't see me post, know that it is because I am not really on-track. As usual, I am good with exercise, but not with diet much of the time, and since diet is what counts for weight loss... well, that means not only am I not losing, I've regained five pounds that I had lost. So since joining BTL, I lost 40, gained back 20, lost five, gained back 5. Boo.
After a month of no running due to an injury (but still some walking), I joined a 75 mile challenge to encourage myself to regain some mileage. I've done pretty well- I have 54 miles under my belt for August, 18 running, the rest walking. I think I can reach 75 by Saturday, as long as I walk home every day and run two miles at least twice this week. Definitely doable.
But my diet is a wasteland. I don't even know what to say about it, because I know what to do, I just don't do it. Right now, you'd be hard pressed to see me eat a single vegetable. This is old Dee taking over.
Hmmm... maybe I need a Challenge- the mileage challenge has been helpful for me, maybe a diet one could help? I'll look into it. I wanna see some PROGRESS!!! I NEED to make some progress happen.
