Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

I'm stuck in my comfort zone.  No matter what I do, I always end up being back between 215 and 220.  I just can't get away from it.  Is it possible that my body just likes to be this weight?  I've added back the water which means I'm drinking a lot less of the juice (Coke).  In fact, some days I don't even have any.  I've cut way back on the eating out.  I haven't stopped for anything on the way to work in weeks, and I've packed a lunch and snacks every day except once (lunch boxes from Panera were provided that day).  We've been cooking in almost every week day, but weekends have been tricky.  But STILL I end up right back in that darn comfort zone.

What does a girl have to do to get under 210 and stay there???

That sounds exactly like me. I'm stck between 218 and 220. No matter what i've tried it doesn't seem to break it. Have you ever heard of calorie cycling? I've been researching it and i'm thinking about trying it. They say it's supposed to be good for busting through plateaus.

try changing up your diet... if you always eat a, b, c.. try eating a, c, b.. sometime your body gets so used to something it wont change... also make sure you're eatting enough calories.. and to eat what you have burned off.. if you're exercising, change that up too.. you have to trick your body every now and then to see the results..  good job on cutting out the juice.. stick to room temp water.. keeps you full longer..

Are you counting calories?  Following any "diet" plan like WW or My Fitness Pal?  I think it might be helpful for you.

I know exactly how you're feeling as I am there myself. But I know that if we just keep at it eventually our bodies have to drop the weight! We just need to focus on where we want to be not dwell on where we are. Just know I feel your pain and you are not alone.

1.  Panera rocks.  I can see why it was hard.

2.  Hmmm--maybe are YOU mentally comfortable in that zone??  If you're happy there and can accept yourself that way, that's cool-and you can relax a bit. :)

3.  I don't know why the scale is being stubborn--however, with the upcoming holidays, maybe you can sculpt a plan to at least maintain? :)
