No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
Today was tough. It was my long day at work and I was so exhausted, mostly from tossing and turning and not sleeping well all night long. I am getting fed up with this peri-menopause already. Sweating, freezing, agitated, happy, tearful. Driving me nuts. I think I counted 5 hot flash 'episodes' last night. Ugh.
So, I ended up staying at work until after 6pm. I came home and went to yoga. It was good and challenging but, for some reason, the instructor kept stopping after every few series of movements to talk about stuff like the emotions that certain positions elicit from us as well as a couple of really long historical lessons on yoga. W.T.F. I got bored just standing there toward the end and I couldn't understand a lot of the technical Spanish words so, whatever. After an hour of class (more like 40 full minutes of actual yoga) I left.
I did really well eating today and am now so ready for bed I think I am going to pass out.
Super Happy Friday! Hello Weekend - you are my AMIGA! :)
What a way to turn yoga into a snorefest. :P
Comment by Sue on January 12, 2013 at 6:44am Cindy you look way too young for peri-menopause!! Those hot flashes and emotions have got to be tough to experience!!
That's certainly a different yoga format that you experienced last night. I kind of get the purpose, but I'm with you...keep it moving!!
Great job with your eating!
Comment by LindaB on January 12, 2013 at 8:22am Right there with ya girl with the peri-menopause thingy. Ohhhh the night sweats are the worst for me. Making it tougher to loose weight. I'm no spring chicken anymore.

Comment by Brandy on January 12, 2013 at 10:17am Great job going to yoga! What a wonderful way to start your weekend, even if the instructor was babbling on and on. Hope you have a relaxing weekend. :)
Comment by Dee on January 14, 2013 at 1:27pm Hope you had a wonderful weekend! back to the grind at work, eh? Good for you for making it to the gym, sorry the yoga instructor didn't give you your money's worth! But even 10 minutes of yoga is restorative, so I'm sure your body thanks you.
