No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
Somewhere I read that you should stretch like a cat before you get out of bed. Usually I am jumping out to tend to the children. However, now I am waking up earlier to work out and have a chance to stretch. It is a site to see! But I can tell the difference from just a few days. I am no longer really stiff in the morning and it seems to wake up my body nicely.
Be careful as muscles that are "cold" can easily be pulled. I had some exercise DVD's that started with a stretch then the work out & others that gave a short "warm" up and my muscles feel better after a short warm up first.
I srretch my neck to each side and neck rolls after I sit up out of bed because if I slept on it wrong, it sort of helps miinimize the "damage".
