Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

When it rains, it pours, my friends.  This day has been so stressful and I'm just glad it's over.  First things first, my hubby was sent to Maryland for work and may be gone for 3-6 months this time.  Also I got a call from my mom at work (never a good sign) and she told me that my great-uncle died and that my grandma has a staph infection.  Last time she had one, it was so bad she took months to recover.  Thankfully grandma is okay.  I had to call my grandpa today to find out.  I didn't know this relative very well, so while it's sad, I won't be taking off of work or anything for it.

With hubby being gone now, running the house and keeping up with everything is now all on me.  Hopefully I can keep it together until he returns home.  I'm sad he'll miss Thanksgiving.  He offered to have me host it this year, and now he won't even be here when all of his family comes over!!  NOT FAIR.  :(

Here's the meal plan today:
B: coffee w/two creamers

L: 1/3 of leftover pollo con queso from dinner last night; 1 sf choc. pudding

Snack: 2 KitKat minis

D: hubby's leftover tamale and burrito from last night.  I may not eat it all, not exactly sure how much is left since I haven't checked the fridge yet

I didn't need the above KitKats.  I'm just stressed.  I did run 3 miles today, though.  That's a plus.  I was supposed to do weights yesterday, but I stayed home since it was Halloween and I knew it was hubby's last day at home.  I wanted to spend as much time with him as possible.  I miss him already!

Hope everyone had a great day.

I'm hosting family turkey day here too.  Kinda bummed since I don't really care for turkey--but my ham for thanksgiving idea was vetoed by the rest of the fam.

Hope you got a better breakfast today--it will help you stave off the effects of stress!  Really!!

Take good care of yourself

Hope you get to a stress free zone. When hubby is gone, do you get to see him at all during the 3-6 months? That would be really hard for me to deal with.

That's a long time to be gone! I'm so sorry. You don't need the added stress, especially this time of year. Maybe your husband will surprise you and pop in for T-giving?! :)

Two KK mini's is not bad. At least they weren't 2 king sized KKs! Hang in there.
