No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
WEll...Happy early Birthday to MEEEE! It's not until Wednesday, but I'm at work tonight, access to FASTER computer, and we are taking off Wednesday for a nice, long camping trip in the " BEEEEEEEEG Camper"- Man Cub apparently studied speech under Mel Blanc. This has been a less-than successful weight loss endeavor. I've joined the " Wednesday Weigh In " club to hopefully boost some accountability. Hubby and I were discussing motivation. " What's my motivation?" His, was the Biggest Loser Contest, at work. That has since ended, he's noticing the scale inch up and is naturally concerned. What can we do, between the two of us, to boost morale, motivation and whoop some weight losing arse?
My problem is the fact that 6 out of 7 days, I'm home. My kitchen is right there! Short of exiling myself to a deserted island, what is a Stay at home mommy- who works 1, maybe 2, 12 hour shifts a week to do? Well! As of late, I'm hitting the tea. Just plain ol' iced tea or hot Lemon Lift. I HAVE indeed noticed that when I drink Diet Pepsi, I really DO crave crap. Using Splenda or Truvia in my hot tea doesn't seem to trigger it, but pop? Katy, bar the door! I get "munchy".
I also need to really start cracking down on menu planning. I'm past tired of chicken....fish.... Any and all suggestions are MORE than welcome!
Time to step away from the vino too. We've been hanging out on the front porch, with *ahem* Adult Beverages.
