Comment by Cindy on January 12, 2013 at 10:43am Don't get discouraged by the scale. You just can't let yourself do that or you'll drive yourself crazy. It's a box that has a number on it. How do you want to measure your success in weight loss? Hopefully it's not just by a number. Perhaps thinking big picture will help. How do you feel overall now that you're eating better and exercising? I think that's way more important than what the scale is reading from day to day.
Keep it up! You are doing a great job! DO NOT let a box on the floor have more power than YOU!
Don't give up--sometimes we have fluid retention or "brown weight" that influences the numbers temporarily. :)
Comment by Sue on January 12, 2013 at 8:10pm Like Cindy and Keem said, our weight can fluctuate for many reasons. Focus on the positive things you are doing like eating good and doing your workouts. Man it's cold where you live. I would not go outside!!
Comment by Almost There on January 12, 2013 at 10:37pm I swear my weight must be based on what my body is doing in an alternate universe, because it rarely seems to correlate with my day to day behavior. Keep paying attention to what you eat and make sure you are fueling yourself up well. Exercise and perseverance are keys too!
