Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

I haven't smiled when stepping on the scale for a long time, but I am down another 1.5 pounds!! I am so excited...have not seen that number in forever!! I still would like to lose another 8.5 pounds but I am getting there.

A year ago I was running the Disney Half Marathon with Team in Training and I have a few friends who are running it today. It is bringing back such awesome memories. I couldn't help myself, I printed out a 12 week half marathon training plan. I have been debating whether or not to do a local race on April 28th because I am so crazy busy, but I need this!! I love having a training plan and sticking to it. I can't wait to get started in a couple weeks!!! New goals rock!!!

that is great - congratulations!    I have a couple friends that are runners too, one is doing the 12 week training for the Toledo half.   You're doing great!

Congrats Sue on posting a loss.

I'm not a runner myself, but last year I felt led to do the 2 day 39 mile walk for Avon's support of Breast Cancer.  I had all the best intentions began training, but then chickened out.  As one of my January Promises this year I have committed myself to redeeming myself and actually doing it this year.  The event is in October.  On December 31st I started walking again.  I need to get my self to a consistent 15 minute mile.... and of course work on distance walking.  Right now up to 2 miles in 17:08.

That's great that you are committing to such a great event! Awesome that you started walking on December 31st and didn't wait until January :) If you are consistent with your walking you will get up to the time and distance you are looking for with no trouble.

I whole-heartedly cheer on your half marathon training plans! I get that way too, I see what others are doing, especially in my running club, and it totally inspires and excites me to make plans. Do it! And congrats on the loss!
