No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
Why is it when HE is on a losing mission, the world stops, but when I am on the wagon it seems less important?
I'm putting on and taking off the same dammed 5 lbs!!! This morning, he want to go to Waffle House and then gets stinky because I don't want to. We already have plans to go out shopping and to the movies later today, sans kiddos. I have a mental subtotal of the damage that may occur. Waffle House is not on the plan! Then I spend the week doing damage control and before I know it, another month has passed and I'm not any farther ( further?) along!!!! RAWR!!!
Listen, I've been doing the tango with the same 2 pounds myself, but then 2 wasn't enough. (Yep, I regained) so be grateful your five haven't multiplied. Waffle House is a tough one. I like the waffles not to mention the hashbrowns covered, smothered, etc. I think you need to vent to him. Explain his support is crucial. My hubby doesn't always get it unless it is spelt out with pictures. I love him, but is it too much to expect him to be able to read my mind after 16 years?? You know next month we will both be kicking it don't you?
Comment by Jessica on September 23, 2012 at 8:07pm I would be frustrated, too. It's not fair of him to put you in that situation when it benefits you. Would it help if you guys budgeted only a certain amount of money each month for eating out? Or maybe made a rule not to more than once a week? Then you save money and he doesn't put you in that situation? (the same goes with carryout--that counts the same as eating out so he doesn't bring junk home)
I also agree with Paula that sometimes men are self centered and dense and unless you tell them straight out what you expect from them, they just don't "get it".
