No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
Yesterday, our last day in FL, hubby and I couldn't stand the sun and the heat. I think the full day at the beach made us heat-sick. Today we had to wake up at 3am and leave for the airport by 330 am. We are exhausted and I am not feeling good. I've been nauseated all day. Nothing seems to help.
I thought it was because my digestive tract needed some help, but that does not seem to be the case. I think it's a combination of dehydration (lots of sun, not enough water this past week), exhaustion (staying up late, waking up early for a week and then 3 hours of sleep last night), and probably the inevitable sickness that comes from travel.
I've been drinking lots of water, chewing Tums, and resting on the couch. The stuff that needs to get done? Yeah, it will still be there to get done tomorrow.
Has anyone done/is anyone doing The Fresh 20? I signed up for it, and it seems to be pretty awesome! It's a website that gives you five dinner meal plans for each week for $5/month. The meal plans are healthy, fresh, and use 20 ingredients for the week or less. Nothing processed, all in season meals. :) Hubby and I have decided to try it out. This week's meals include: balsamic grilled sirloin w/grilled corn and black bean salad; corn chowder w/cheese quesadillas; steak kabobs w/grilled veggie couscous; grilled oregano chicken w/white bean salad; and zucchini black bean tacos w/avocado salsa. If you wanna check out the website, it's: www.thefresh20.com
Here's today's meal plan:
B: orange juice; iced coffee; McD's fruit and maple oatmeal; 1/2 blueberry yogurt parfait (shared w/hubby)
L: 1/2 bbq burger and 2 limeades from Red Robin (no fries---was not feeling good, but getting food on my stomach made me feel slightly better for a while)
D: baked potato w/butter, salt, pepper and a sprinkle of parm cheese I decided on something plain for dinner that would also fill me up
Hope everyone had a great day!
