No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
I knew my folly at mile two by mile 6 I told a friend to go on without me lol Norm stayed with me but my foot was KILLING me by the end. I am currently ice rolling it. Looks like 1 week off is not enough and maybe my runs will have to be 3 miles or less for a while which makes me really sad. It was WONDERFUL to see so many coyotes (trail running friends) out today seeing your friends makes everything better! The new shoes helped but this injury I think will take a while. I am afraid if I push it, then it might turn into plantar fasciitis or something worse from me favoring my right foot. Unfortunately it feels better running than walking which encourages me to run but in the end it hurts more. I really wanted to be able to go the full 8 miles today but I cut out 1 mile... I should have cut out 3 and I am paying for it now.
I lost 2.6 lbs this week! I also found a new swimsuit online... it looks like I will be doing a lot more swimming for the time being!
