No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
Best way to lose weightBack in the days, losing weight was all about image especially when it came to gaining the attention of the opposite sex. However, with the high rates of obesity and being overweight in the United States, losing weight has become a mantra and is more of a necessity than a matter of decision.
Unwanted medical conditions such as heart conditions and digestive ailments are kept at bay when you affiliate yourself to a weight loss program. The exercise involved ensures that your body systems are functioning at their level best and also that you are putting meaningful food into your gut instead of the junk that you love to pop in.
The perfect weight loss program should include a proper eating plan. For starters, start small by doing simple exercises and then make some progress from then onwards. For example, you can start by doing daily exercises such as swimming, aerobics, dancing and simple walking. If you are centering on building lean and firm muscle, then weight training is the ting for you.
Things to keep away from
The first thing that you should center on when losing weight is changing your eating habits. Going on a diet does not mean that you go on a fasting spree or that you should starve yourself. If you are working out, you will need energy to burn the excess fat. This energy is sourced from the food that you eat. Henceforth, if you do not eat, the net effect of losing weight is almost zero or is a slow and painful process. This is not to say that you should chug down anything that is palatable. Far from it, you should regulate the amount of food that you take in and focus on counting your calories to the decimal point on a daily basis. Take for example; an average person requires about 2,000 calories each day. Based on this figure, you can come up with a perfect plan on what meals you will be taking that provides the correct number of calories for whatever activities you need to perform and also for your workout plan. You should also be in the know that calories are oxidized when we work out. But if we are inactive, these calories are converted into fat. The best thing you can do to organize your eat right plate is consulting your doctor or nutritionist on the best way to organize a diet plan that you can follow with ease.
Things you can still derive pleasure from
The pursuit of a perfect body physique is not all about sacrifice. This is because you can still keep in shape doing simple fun tasks. Take for example a daily jog through your hood or playing with your pets. Involve yourself in fun to do physical activities as this helps your body burn more calories at a faster rate. You can do this by enrolling to a physical sport or hitting the gym. Losing weight should be something like a hobby or something that you derive happiness from. This will give you the motivation to move on even if challenges may come along the way
I have found that perfection is overrated and hard to maintain. I guess the amount a person is willing to do for the rest of their life (with eating AND exercise) should be something they're happy with in correlation with the way their body looks at that level.
I no longer strive for the unreachable to me--perfection--for I will always find something about myself to pick on. So--I embrace my imperfection now. :)
