Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Today is a hectic day but I've been thinking about blogging for the a while now (its been about two weeks) so I wanted to check in now quickly and hopefully get a chance tonight before bed to read up on how everyone is doing. 

- My current weight is 248.8 - Down only about .6 lbs in the past two weeks (no bueno). I've been eating out a couple of nights a week, but I still work out on a regular bases. Eating out stops today. I've made a grocery list and meal plan for the next two weeks to get me back on track. I don't know what else could be going on. I just want to see 247.2 so I can be down 40 lbs, but I've been stalled out for a while. Then I could move on to the BIG goal of being down 50 lbs. 

- Running: I'm not seeing the progress I want to see (eating poorly probably isn't helping) so I'm thinking I'll do my first 5k in December. That should be PLENTY of time to get ready. No excuses. I've already found a race and the money goes to a cool mentoring program for girls in the area. 

- Non-Food/Weight issues: School is getting more stressful, I'll be starting my internship experience soon (on top of working), I still haven't figured out how you meet new people when you move to a new city so my social life could be better, but overall I'm ok being a busy bee.

Glad you have the 5K lined up.  Once you sign  up officially, you will be motivated to train for it! :)

Signing up for a 5K was one of the best steps I took, really got my butt in gear to keep it up!
