Random Note

Okay, this is random, but I have to share. I bought a dress maybe three weeks ago that said L on the label. I assumed that meant "Large" and bought it without trying it on. I was in a hurry and with a friend, so I didn't bother. I got home that night, tried it on, but could barely get it over my butt. After working out a lot, I thought, Hmmm, I'll try it on again and see if it fits better. This time I got it on, but couldn't really zip it up. Frustrated, I checked the label again. I'm in between M and L now (in some tops at least) and I thought it weird that I couldn't fit into a "large" dress. Well, the label did say L.....for European sizing. The actual US size was a size 8. NO WONDER! It has now become something I can try on to see how it fits as I lose weight. Not necessarily a "Goal Dress" since it was super cheap, but something to check my progress.

Comment by Keem on September 30, 2012 at 5:13pm: I noticed that some countries do numbers differently than ours--like on shoes and clothes--like my size might be a 41 or 21 for example. I don't really know the number.

Comment by Brandy on September 30, 2012 at 5:32pm: Keem, yeah, but usually the other countries' sizes aren't the big numbers on the label--usually the US size is. This time the US number was small and the European number was big. That's what threw me off.
