No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
I finally feel like I'm getting on top of my grading. Just one set of quizzes and one set of honors papers to grade. :)
I run tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it so that I can get out my stress. A few of my students told me today that they see me running. One said, "I saw you yesterday. And on Saturdays. And some other days too." LOL They are so impressed that I'm going to run a 5k. One of my fairly athletic students said something about how terrible running "that far" is. I know I thought that too before I started running. And now, somehow, by some miracle (aka lots of hard work), I am able to do so. I am just amazed at the whole thing still.
My eating today was horrid. Just awful. It's a combination of being hungry today, not planning, and not doing what I know I should.
B: coffee w/1 tbsp creamer; 2 Reese's cups (stress eating anyone? I knew I shouldn't have left those things in my work desk)
L: 1 serving leftover sausage/kale pasta, 1 container pears in water
Snack: 2 more Reese's. It was after a semi-stressful cheer practice where none of the uniforms fit all of the girls together. UGH
D: My in-laws called to go out with us to celebrate my sis-in-law's b-day so I had 2/3 order of jalepeno cheddar bites (fried...sigh) and 1/2 serving nachos. Bar food at its worst. I feel disgusting.
Time to get back on the planning wagon. I'm so busy, but it's no excuse for not planning and staying on plan. Work is always going to be busy. I just need to get used to it, suck it up, and get things done. Who's with me? :)
Comment by Cindy on October 17, 2012 at 10:52pm I think that's awesome that you have many of your students beat when it comes to keeping fit!
Stress eating is so strong this time of year. Everyone is tired, stressed and burned out. I think it takes more than we realize when it comes to planning and prepping food.
Congrats on catching up on grading!
Comment by Jill Mace on October 18, 2012 at 11:27am I love when I see a change in my fitness level. It makes me feel confident and strong. It is so nice to see progress in other areas besides the *(%^&%( scale!!!!!!
Today is a new day! Do good today!
