No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
I got home yesterday after my first full week back to work - and totally and utterly zonked out. I had every intention of going to spinning at 7:30pm and even set my alarm...and slept right through it! I woke up at 10pm completely rejuvenated of course. I didn't realize I was that exhausted but I also wasn't surprised. Then I wasn't even hungry but went ahead and had a big bagel sandwich anyway. Why? I'm not sure. I guess I knew that if I didn't eat it would catch up with me this morning. So, yesterday I was well over 2,000 cals with all the snacking after I did when I got home. Ugh.
I went to spinning this morning and it was a great class with a super instructor who really pushed us to our limits! I could barely walk out of there!
I had another day of a little too much snacking so this is the 3rd day in a row of that. The snacks are very carby, too - granola bars, granola thins, half sandwiches, dried fruit, etc. I know it doesn't sound that bad but calories are calories and the granola stuff adds up fast! I think after next week my body will be back on track with a regular work routine but I am going to focus on the following this week to try and even out my after-work hunger issues:
1. More protein (especially at breakfast and afternoon snack)
2. Less carbs
Oh, yes, a very complex plan indeed. Ha!
