No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
I'm new to the site, but not new to the weight loss game. I've been playing it for years and haven't quite won yet. I am getting married, and thankfully I have 2 years to work with for me to get to my goal size! I am not following any specific plan, I am meshing a few together. I am the type that cannot seem to stick with a weight loss plan, and once I fall off the wagon I seem to gain MORE weight back. I have planned a gym schedule and a home schedule that works for me. I am not yet counting calories, but will step up to that challenge hopefully soon. Now I am just making healthier choices and smaller portion sizes. It seems to be working for now, I am down 1 pound and very happy about it. I will step up my game as I go along, but I am happy with the ease in approach. If I do all or nothing at first, I end up with nothing!
I think it's wise to start with a plan of attack and to mold your own based on what seems to work for you! The all-or-nothing thing isn't wise so I'm glad you know better! :)

This is a super place for support, encouragement, advice, etc. I agree that the all or nothing approach just doesn't seem to work in the long run. Sometimes it's a good start in the short run though. I completely cut out alcohol the first few months and am still working on moderation.

All or nothing doesn't work for me either, I need a plan I can live with. I am currently using MyFitnessPal, pretty easy to use and has a huge database. Again, WELCOME, look forward to reading more about you!
