No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

So today I made it back to the gym since before Christmas! it felt great to be back in there. It was packed with all the new January gym rats getting their fit on. I felt inspired just being there! Mini-Mindy held a strength clinic which consisted of me and three other people. We did 6 exercises each three times. Whew, the squats with 5lbs weights just about killed me. I have to really strengthen my thighs to be able to hold up on squats. So my shoulders should be buring really good tomorrow around this time, thighs already there. After the strength clinic I walked just a bit on the treadmill. Couldn't last long because my legs wanted to buckle under me. It was a great start to the great me that is going to be this year. Set my goal to lose 30% of body fat. Set it for 3  months as that is the furthest date out on the LFF goal tracker. Since my lowest weight (thus far) in October I have gained 8lbs. Not what I wanted to see but it was after the entire day and drinking a ton of water. I am just finishing cycle as well so maybe it's a bit elevated due to those factors. Next Monday I hope to have taken off 5 of those 8lbs just by water weight and eliminating the sugar and salt and keeping track of my intake.

  I'm determined to meet my goal weight this year and maintain it. My goal is to meet the goal around May or Jun and then maintain it throughout the year, toning and gaining strength all the way. I've got a pretty good cheering section on FB and my husband is going to the gym several days a week and he is motiviating me as well. He just said that he may be switching to my gym which will be even more motivating. My daughter started back to her dance lessons tonight as well so we all did something for our health today which makes me feel proud. She even wants to learn some baton routines from me so that will just add to the physical activity I will be doing. So excited to get back to it!!

Excellent! That's one hard workout! I'm glad you have a great support system. It's so important for weight loss.

It's hard to start out on the 5 pounders.  I always had to start on 3-at least on most of the arm exercises.  I am in awe of the ladies that use the 15ers.

Ih I'm paying for those 5lbders today...my thighs hurt so bad!! Proves I shocked them into submission but I think I'm the one in submission now! Lol thanks for the encouragement!
