Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

I started out with a list of things that I really need to get done this week. I had a certain number of items that were to be done stat, asap, pronto, TODAY! About half of them made it to the crossed-off list. Oh well.

One of the things I did was walk around the neighborhood to a few specialty shops looking for a few obscure tequila brands that my bro asked for. I didn't find them but I got a lot of walking in. Then I walked to the grocery store to pick up some things but cabbed it home even though I could have walked. I really should have put better shoes on for that walk. My knees felt it in just 30 minutes. Crazy.

Eating was good in terms of calories but not that great in terms of nutrition - as in virtually absent of fruits and veggies. No, wait. I did have some freshly cut up mango off the street. Anyway, breakfast was a yummy bowl of oatmeal, pumpkin and peanut butter. Then the mango. Then I had a ww bagel thin with cream cheese, salmon and capers. Can the capers count for a veggie? What are capers anyway? I'll have to look that up.....later.

I went to spinning class but I'm not kidding when I say that I really was zapped of energy. Hotty kept ordering us to crank it up and increase this and increase that and I just stayed at pretty much the same resistance and speed the whole workout. I cranked it up to stand and ride but that's about it. I almost walked out after 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 and 45 minutes. I'm really serious. I can only guess it was all the walking earlier and the not so nutritious filled eating maybe.

Like I said - Mundane Monday. I can't believe I managed to squirt out that much boredom to all of you. Sorry about that!

I've done the same thing-worn the wrong shoes and then felt knee or back aches from it. I wore some crocs one time and YOW!

On the bright side--HALF of those things aren't on the list anymore!  I know what you mean about those energy zapped non motivated days.  Good for you sticking out the 45 min of spin.  Even if you weren't ramping up the energy, you still got some movement in.  I think capers totally count as a veggie.  Now as to how many you would have to eat before it counts as a serving...

Do you guys have those crazy tequilas in the mosaic looking skulls?  I know they aren't particularly obscure--(I think you can get them here at BevMo)--but they look cool.

I bet it WAS the walking. That heat can zap you!

I've had days like that in Bodypump, and you know what, that's what makes going to these classes great. Because on days when I don't feel like doing anything workout-wise, even a low-effort class is going to burn calories and do me way better than staying home like I may have felt like doing. So bravo to you for putting in the time, it mattered! PS: I don't know what capers are either, but I like them on my bagel!
