No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
So just as I lost track of this blog I lost track of my weight loss. It was a lot of factors, mainly travelling so much, but I sadly completely lost it. I had not stepped on a scale in months and finally got on one in December which read 297 lbs. I was shocked that I did that to myself. On top of that, the next day one of my best friends got engaged and asked me to be a bridesmaid, IT WAS TIME TO GET ON TRACK. But of course...I put that off. It got to March and I had to commit to myself that this was it and I was going to lose this weight.
I decided that I would look up the facts on how to do Weight Watchers(I work in theatre...I don't have the money for that). So I'm doing it! I'm not exactly sure when I started but in about 1 1/2-2 months I am now down 21 pounds! I think I have FINALLY found something that I like and can stick to! It's easy once you start figuring out the points and as long as you plan ahead you're great!!
Right now for instance I am staying in a hotel that shares a parking lot with a Chinese Buffet in the parking lot. I have been craving Chinese for a week now but instead of trucking on over there I am here writing this and drinking a very large glass of water. Yes, I am also looking up point values for Chinese just in case I give in and get a to-go container BUT I am planning ahead in order to stay within my points for the day.
OH!! Great thing about WW is every week you get 35 bonus points so when you want to splurge and maybe...eat Chinese take-out GO FOR IT!! Just stay within those 35 points.
Okay...I've rambled enough for now. Hopefully I will keep up with this just as I plan to keep up with Weight Watchers. I have to accept that it's a LONG road I'm on but there are so many people out there on the same rocky road to share it with.
