No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
Each morning for the past week I have been drinking a cup of warm water with lemon juice. I read about the benefits on Food Babe and MindBodyGreen. At first, I did not know how it would do any good. I mean, lemon juice and water on an empty stomach? But, I am here to tell you that it works! This is coming from someone who wakes up anxious, serious anxiety. The main reason is that for the past four years, instead of coming into our room like normal people, my children scream MOMMY!!!!! when they wake up. (Granted they never leave the bed while screaming). I am startled, STARTLED, I tell you when I wake up. I walk to their room and they just want to know the time, is the sun up, what day is it, etc..etc... As such, my sleep is always disturbed and I wake up feeling rushed. Enter lemon water. Now when I wake up from the human alarms, I automatically drink lemon water slowly and I feel calm. Go figure ;-)
