Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

I didn't go to bed until after 11pm last night because I was busy grading.  After church, I went to my classroom so I could focus, and I spent three hours there doing work.  Then, after grocery shopping, cooking dinner, and eating, I spent another 2-3 or maybe 4 hours grading.  After school let out today, I spent another 2 hours at work.  Then I came home, made dinner, ate, and just spent another 2-3 hours grading.  It's now time for bed and I foresee another 1-2 hours before I am finished.   UGH.  It's the never ending pile of papers, I tell you.  I'm pretty sure they have little paper babies when I'm not looking!

I was so tired this morning that I rearranged my running schedule so that I could get at least six hours of sleep last night.  I owed myself at least that!  I'm going to bed by 9:30 so I can have plenty of sleep and get in my run tomorrow.  I'll be starting week 5 of the c25k.  If you had told me before the summer that I would be running a mile with no problem and that I would be working on running three miles, I would have thought it was impossible.  I have come far, even though all I see is how far I have to go!

Here's today's meal plan.  I didn't have time to eat breakfast because I was busy getting ready for the school day at work this morning.  I normally eat during my plan period, but that didn't happen....

B: none  :(  Although I did have an iced coffee with creamer

L: leftover southwest pasta salad; 1 container peaches in juice; 1 serving banana chips

Snack: banana w/2 tbsp pb

Dinner: mediterranean eggplant sandwiches (with greek feta spread) and red pepper hummus with orange and yellow pepper strips

Dessert: 1 sugar cone dipped in nutella (I eat the ice cream cones without ice cream; I use them to dip into nutella--this way I can get my sugar/chocolate fix for fewer calories than cookies)

Hope everyone has a good day.  I'm off to take a bath to relax my muscles before bed.  :)

!!!!!!!!! That is a LOT of grading! I used to think I would get more done if I was in my room but I would just end up doing less in my classroom, especially if it was on a weekend. I hope you're feeling a little more caught up.

I'm glad you're enjoying the running! I hope your arm is holding up OK!

6 hours of sleep, you're so decadent, NOT! Holy cow, good for you to still get runs in with that much work!

Lots of homework for the teacher!  Makes you want to go light on the assignments so you have less to do, huh?

Yes, it does.  But that wouldn't be best for my students.  :)

You are doing great! Getting in the exercise no matter what. I don't know how you made it from breakfast to lunch without food. My tummy would have been growling so loud the whole class would have heard it!
