Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

It's encouraging to see a whole pound lost, after loosing small amounts for so long.  I'm still doing what I have been doing all along.  I'm tracking my calories and macros in MFP, weighing my food on my kitchen scale, prepping lunches ahead of time for work and planning/prepping dinners ahead of time.  On Fridays we usually work through lunch and then I'm starving by the time I get home.  I have been bringing snacks with me that I can eat at my desk or in the car. Yesterday I had to go to Costco after work, so I knew I wouldn't make it home without being tempted to get food somewhere, so instead of facing that temptation I ate a protein bar at work with a cup of tea.  I was starving by the time I got home so instead of having a snack I started making dinner immediately and we ate a little bit early.  In the back of my head I was thinking I'd make popcorn later if we got hungry but I wasn't hungry and nobody else said anything so I didn't mention it.  I've been wanting popcorn but I keep doing one of two things, either I have no calories left for the day or I end up satisfied with my dinner and don't want a snack.  I also have a couple protein bars stashed in my purse just in case, but I've been planning so well that I haven't needed them!

I hear you on the small increments.  I've been down .4 and .8 the last couple of weeks.  I'd like to see a whole number sometime soon.
