No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
My knee isn't hurting after yesterday's trial jog/walk workout. It was on the treadmill and with my old shoes but the concrete may have been too much for my out of whack knee during my previous run. My knee is on day one and a half after the workout and so far, no pain! I'm happy to find myself more grateful for the little things. I think this gal may be growing up.
On even better news (what COULD be better than a painless kneeeee??)! My husband has an interview tomorrow at another branch of the restaurant he works at as a server. He's being considered for a management position. This is great b/c even if he doesn't get it at this time, management is looking at him for this role! The location is within minutes from our home and the majority of the staff is pretty new, the current manager is the one that hired my husband at the restaurant, and the interview was set up by management. Is this crazy awesome or what?! I'm so happy for him, he's been working so hard to improve and I think just getting the interview is amazingly cool.
He's going in at 2 tomorrow so that leaves almost no time to perk up his resume and get a haircut. I'd be FREAKING out but he's a cool and relaxed guy. He's my role model on that end. I'm tweaking his resume to update it on what he's done lately, he called me today and he was like, "Yeah, interview tomorrow." Not like I would have been, "OMGOMGOMG! I.. you know... OMG!" Yep, cool and laid back.
Food went down the drain, somewhat. All healthy stuff except for the chocolate and graham crackers. I know, but I'll make it up tomorrow with a second attempt of Stage 1 (4.5 mins walk/0.5 mins jog *4) and weight lifting. My mom said she'd watch the kids so I could hit the gym in the evening. It'll be a busy morning!!
Ok, enough "!!!", I'm just very happy right now. And excited and nervous, and I'm not even going to be at the interview. I wish my husband the best, please pray if you do! Or send us good vibes, please. This will be a great thing for our family :)
