No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
This week has been so busy for me! My sister got married on Oct.5, and I spent the week beforehand juggling family in town with 3 kids fighting a nasty stomach virus. It was really so stressful- my other sister was in town with her toddler, and I made the 45 minute one way drive to my mom's every day for 5 days in a row- leaving my sick kids with my hubby at home while I attended the rehearsal and dinner, then a family bbq, which my middle son got sick the day of (I had to drive him all the way back home after he threw up all over himself) and finally by the day of the wedding the kids were (sort of) well enough to do the wedding stuff. My typically quiet life was transformed into a very busy week! The wedding was on Sunday, we left for camping on Thursday and stayed 4 nights. We had a great time camping- I didn't worry about anything, we just had an easy time grilling hot dogs over the fire and enjoying the outdoors. Returning on Monday to 2 weeks of laundry and a messy house after stomach flu was a little nuts followed by starting up school again on Tuesday. I have spent every day this week working as hard as I can to make sure everything gets done- yesterday I spent 3 hours cleaning out my kids' bedrooms and I am now restarting all that laundry...lots of work! I am fighting hormones which should even out pretty soon- and I am trying to stay positive while not looking forward to a weekend of no hubby- he is working off duty jobs again. I have had a pretty down week- the scale is up and my hormones are making me so irritable. Yesterday I finally had the realization that I needed to work out DUH!!! Which led to a much better day- the workout energized me to clean the house, then I took the kids to the park where they had a fantastic afternoon and I loved every minute of it. I weighed in this morning. Scale is up- not surprising with the way I have been eating (emotional eating) and my hormones. I am moving on- started a new tracker today and logged my weigh in. I've got my food for the day planned and i'm about to go do my workout!!
