Its day four of my 5:15 wake up call to the Treadmill.
I couldn't get my regular program to work because the incline kept jamming up. BTW - about 1 1/2 ago, my husband got our Treadmill on Craigslist for aboslutely FREE? Yup! I said FREE. Its a BodyGuard just like the one at the YMCA here in my little sleepy town of nowhere NC. So if you need one and can't afford one, I'd check Craigslist.
Anyway, straight up no inclines today pushed out .89 in 15 with a pace of 3.60.
I stuck on plan with meals. Only we swapped out cous cous for quinoa. Have you ever had that? We followed the directions - it wasn't bad, just needs more flavor. I'm going to look up some receipes and try it again. I was a little shocked about the carbs in it, but had spoken to my boss who's a RD on another occasion and she said that it was one of those power foods in the grain family and that it was highly nutritious. So I discounted the carbs on this one. This little grain carries 16 grms of protien too. So its great for vegetarians or vegans.
Something funny about yesterday. I was at my office and around 1:30 - I get this msg from one of the Principals at a school that I supervisor asking me if I could come see him. I'm thinking ... Oh no, this can't be good. A bazillion memories flashed through my head. It turned out all good; just looking at some change in breakfast times.
