Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

This weekend seemed to have just flown by. I think I'm finally starting to recover from this nasty lung infection. Yesterday I went on a science field trip all day with over 100 students. The packaged lunch we got was pretty carb heavy but I ate it and also stayed hungry all day.  Last night when we came in I ate a plate of street tacos for an early dinner. But I chowed on a ham and cheese sandwich late last night. Blah. In all it was one of those couldabeenbetter - couldabeenworse kind of eating days.

Today I felt a lot better and we went out bike riding for 2 hours. We had a light Lebanese lunch of some fresh hummus, grape leaves and some lean lamb meat. Tonight I made a quick lightened up coconut curry that was really tasty. I skipped making the rice all together. Only my husband noticed. lol. It felt great to get a good dose of exercise in for the day. I miss exercising so much. I miss how I feel afterwards. I miss how I sleep. I plan to take it slow as I get back into it until these ugly coughing fits disappear for good.

I'm seeing on FB that almost everyone has a day off tomorrow in the US. I hope you enjoy it!

I can't wait to go biking again!  The weather is do gloomy and wet in England that it is hard to get in consistent riding!  Glad to here you are feeling better!  You were hit hard!!

I think the bike riding helped equal things out!

I feel the same way about getting back into exercising!  I can't wait but don't want to do too much too quickly.

i'm so glad you're taking care of yourself, and that you're getting better. That coconut curry sounds delish!
