Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Everyday I wake up feeling exhausted…doesn’t matter how much I sleep or don’t sleep(which is more likely)…I just never feel like I’ve slept at all...I know at the moment there is s much going on that it’s really hard t shut my brain down…have been resorting to melatonin just to fall asleep…but you gotta do what ya gotta do…

Surgery is scheduled for the 27th…Had pre-admin yesterday…3hours…really??

Then we wait again…2 weeks to get the results of the tumor and lymph node biopsy’s then another 2/4 weeks to go to the cross cancer for radiation and or chemo…but everything hinges on the results of the biopsy… Will be holding my breath…am still stress eating…and shaking my head and hating myself every step of the way…so more excuses…cutting the crap …!!!

I'm finding it hard to see where the exhaustion ends and the excuses begin...

When my mom had Breast cancer she just acted like life was totally normal I went to chemo with her and she always went to work even through all the chemo and the radiation and as much after her surgeries as she could the only time she really couldn't work was when she got her mastectomy and even then she had someone else drver her to work and she would try to see patients as soon as possible afterward. Stay strong and think about nurishing your body with foods that will keep you strong durring this difficult time. Best of Luck! you are not alone in this!

I'm sorry you're going through all this. Being stressed and tired and unsatisfied is terrible, and on top of everything else you're going through. Have you tried daily yoga and meditation? Just an hour a day can make a difference. My teacher had thyroid cancer and that's why she began yoga, was to calm her mind. Just a thought. Good luck with all your testing.

What a tough time for you.  No wonder you are having trouble sleeping and resorting to stress eating.  If I were in this situation I have to believe I'd be doing whatever made me feel better.   You just have to take care of yourself and think about what you can do for YOU to take care of YOU. Melis suggestion of yoga is a good one as it does calm your mind and soothes the body.

Sending you healing vibes.
