No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
Hmmmm, I've been a member of BTL since October of 2011 and I'm only now getting around to blogging. I signed up because I thought being accountable would help and I'm sure it will, once I am accountable.
My weight history for the past 10 years has looked something like this. Approximately 10 years ago I weighed around 220 pounds. In 2005-2006 I joined Weight Watchers (again, been a member for most of my life) and got down into the 140s around 2007. Then I stopped going, had a couple of injuries, lost focus and my weight climbed up to the 170s. Since January of this year I have managed to get down to 166.2 for a loss of about 11 lbs. Sure, that's better than gaining 11 pounds, but I really want to lose the weight and feel better about myself.
I am having to go back and remind myself of what I did when I was successful. I planned my meals out every day, I tracked all my food, I exercised every day, attended meetings regularly and I not only lost weight, I felt really good.
So I have my meals all tracked for the day. I am going to a cardio dance class at 11 today and I will attend this weeks WW meeting on Thursday even though I may have a gain. My usual M.O. is to skip meetings where I may have gained - a strategy that only leads to more weight gain. I know these things will work. I just need to do them. Oh, and blog.

It sounds like you know exactly what works to lose the weight. I think it's commendable that you put a stop to the madness before you gained all of the weight back (which I have done countless times).
Welcome! This place is perfect for support, ideas, and venting. It has been key in my losing 30 pounds. I recently have regained 10 and am back at it. I am shooting to lose 10 by 10/01. I might fall short, but I am sure going to give it a try. I am in a friendly competition with Dee who allowed me to use her goal for mine.
