No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
So disappointed :( I've been working out mostly everyday and eating healthy and still not losing weight. I know people say you "gain muscle weight" but come on...I look thinner and feel better but I just want the scale to start going down :( It's discouraging me... I'm using MyFitnessPal to keep track of my calories/fat/protein/carbs and everyday I'm under my limit...getting frustrated.
Comment by Jill Mace on October 12, 2012 at 5:21am I know it is hard- nearly impossible not to be affected by the number on the scale- however it can really cause damage. You yourself said you look thinner and feel better! That is what it is all about! Not a number. The disappointment you feel over the scale could cause you to backslide. Feel really good and really proud that you look good and feel good! That will motivate you to stay on the right path!!!!!!
I am with you on the holding pattern. I am just going to keep at it because sooner or later my body will do what it is suppose to.
What if you crosstrain? Or do green tea to discourage fluid retention?
One weigh in doesn't count because it could be muscle, fluid retention, or even "brown weight".
Keep it up! If you don't see any decrease next week, then maybe you can consider your options. :)
