Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

OK so my mom and I have been talking about different diet plans.. WW, JC, South Beach, etc.. we were thinking of this new one HGC.. has anyone tried into it? the reason I'm thinking of doing it for more of a jump start...   How did you go about deciding what diet plan would be good for you?

eeeeek! I did HCG. It does work...it works well. I followed it to a T. But if you finish your 40 days (or however long you do it) and try and just "diet" it will backfire! You are essentially starving yourself, but tricking your body into thinking you're not. So when you go off the injection/or however you're taking it, your body will store everything you eat as fat because it's not getting enough! I lost 25 pounds in 40 days and then soon after I gained about 40. I did not adhere to the diet plan HCG provided after the injection because I was just plain tired of not being able to have anything. Now I'm following a healthy lifestyle, I've lost a little over 20 pounds just through diet and exercise and it feels SO much better. It feels awesome to not constantly have that, "ugh, is it over yet?!" feeling. As annoying as it is, lifestyle changes and modifying your life is the way to go. It's slow, but it's permanent.

I think the best plan is the one that's right for you--like if you are too carb loving or are vegetarian, you might not like southbeach-for example--and if you can't find one that's JUST right for you, you can piece together your own based on your own unique strengths and weaknesses. :)

I lost my weight following WW.  I get to eat what I want and I learn how to eat in moderation.  The meetings are also very helpful for me.  But Keem is right- you have to find a plan that works for you and one that you are going to be able to follow for the rest of your life.
