Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Today went good considering I felt like I woke up with the start of a cold. At work I felt nausea and light headed. I was ready to snack on crackers but then NO! I would not eat them. I have made this 60 day commitment to myself. I ended up eating only what I brought. Tonight I made a pot of broccoli noodle soup and it made me feel so much better. Insanity DVD Pure Cardio was a killer and I thought about skipping, but you know what? I felt so much better after I did it. Maybe I sweated out the cold germs! Now that Jessica has reminded us that we are just 13 weeks from Thanksgiving, I better get cracking because I want to lose some weight by then. No excuses. I am really beat tonight so I am going to go rest up. I don't want to be too sick to do Insanity. Do I sound crazy or what??

Ooooo. Germs HATE broccoli! What do you use as your base? It sounds good, even though it's still summer! lol
Man Cub loves broccoli. I wonder how long it will last...

Just remember if you're truly sick (not a-choo sick like a cold, but, like puking or fevery sick) take care of yourself so your body can heal and that means no exercise and if it's hurling, you'd have to eat differently.

Just stay away from any more "cooties" until your challenge is done! :)

It's great that you love your workout life so much you don't want to miss it! I know that feeling. You know what I realized, reading this post? That in the year or so I've been reading your posts, you are pretty good about meals. I mean, enviably good- I want to use my kitchen like you do. You have said before that your only issue is snacks- and you are conquering that these past few weeks. It's good to be at a point where there is only one habit to focus on- makes it easier to develop that laser focus and delete the habit from your life. Great job with the crackers, and excellent as usual on the meal plan and exercise.

Get lots of rest and get in some citrus.  You can beat this cold!
