Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

I can't believe I didn't post last night!!  The Husband decided he wanted to go up early, and since I'm always the one nodding off in my chair, who was I to argue!

So after my sneak, I was happy to be down .5 yesterday.  What I mean by happy is, I was glad it wasn't up, but i'm still frustrated by it.  I promised myself I wouldn't let it derail me and so far it hasn't.  I was extra hungry yesterday, but I satisfied my hunger by making good choices.  I am hoping that, like Paula said it is just my body getting used to everything.  And if you look at it that way it's true...  More exercise, less food, focusing on healthy things, my body is probably like, 'whaaaat.'

My run went decent yesterday, i noticed the more I read the less I wanted to read, so for the last 15 minutes I shut the book and just concentrated on running, didn't do bad.  Did 53 minutes, 4 mi. with a few walk breaks.  Did some good stretching and have been feeling good about it.  It's amazing how your body remembers things, there is no way, when I first started running that I could have done this.  But now, after some major stalls, I can get back without as much training.  Today is an elliptical day, so I'll hit the gym again.

More exercise- less food.  That is my mantra now.  We can do this.

Muscle memory is so real. When you are a regular runner, even with a few weeks of a break, when you start again your body quickly recovers the fitness. Now if you take a few years break...well then that's like starting from scratch! I speak from experience. LOL!
