Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Today was a good day. Good eating and good work out. Although I don't really like month # 2 of Insanity, I plan to complete the 60 days. I am just not a quitter. What if I quit this, what's next? I know it tightened me up and improved my cardio. It just didn't help me lose weight. I am still on the fence about eating more. I've read that I could be in starvation mode and my body is hugging the weight, but I am not sure if that is it or I am just looking for an excuse. After Insanity, I plan to work out, but maybe not so intense. Frankly it wore me out. I don't know if I could do a 2nd round. Today I went shopping and bought fruit & fresh veggies. One new fruit was kiwi berries. The were like grape size, yet the are mini kiwi's. I can't wait to give them a try. My gratitude entries today

1. I am grateful my Insanity workout went so well

2. I am grateful that I have a husband who loves me regardless of my size

Can you trust yourself to eat if you are hungry and only if you are hungry?  In WW we are allowed to eat "exercise" points.  I try not to eat them- unless I am really hungry.  If I am not extra hungry then I try not to eat them just because I can.  Does that make sense?  I am so proud of you for not being a quitter!!!!

If ou don't maintain your current exercise regimen, expect to backslide physically on it.  Happened to me when I was mega on the exercise for a few months and then after the finish line I was moderate again.

I am so impressed by your perseverance!   Just a couple more weeks and you will be able to say, "I did it!".  I hope the next exercise venture will be something you enjoy more.  As for not losing weight--have you considered sitting down and talking with a dietician or nutritionist?  Perhaps they would be able to pinpoint some areas for you to focus upon.  You are working so hard--I really want you to be able to feel that you are really progressing.

KIWI BERRIES!!! Yum! Where did you ever find such things? I must try them. I love your attitude of not quitting. Definitely look into your calories in vs. out. It sounds like you very well could be not giving yourself enough food for all that you are likely burning.

I am encouraged by your perseverance. You keep going and going even if you get tired or frustrated. You push yourself to be the best you. Thank you for showing everyone what courage really is.

@ Almost. I have given thought to a dietician but haven't pursued it yet. The last time I went to a Dr for a medical issue I got a few who did not truly believed me when given my situation. I am kind of worried it will take so long to find a "good" one.

@ Shannon. I saw the kiwi berries at the grocery on Sunday. I've never seen them and the guy who was stocking the shelf took the time to get the price and explain what they were. Mini kiwi's. Kind of pricey like all berries, but I figured what the heck, I am worth it.
