No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
Weighed in today and I am at the exact place I was 5 weeks ago. I mean EXACTLY. I have a digital scale and it has read the same thing each week right down to the damn 10th. I made my husband jump on just to check. My gratitude entries for today
1. I am grateful I did not gain any weight in the last 5 weeks
2. I am grateful I have the ability to keep trying until I get this right

Comment by Jill Mace on October 6, 2012 at 3:05pm You really are inspiring me and others to keep at it. I know how important those numbers on the scale are, but I also know that you have been exercising most days of the week for as long as I have known you and have been trying to eat 80/20 for as long as I have known you! The scale might not tell you what you want to hear, but think about where you would be today if you had quit at any point along your journey! I am so in awe of your dedication to yourself. It truly helps to keep me going. Again- I know the frustration of the scale not moving. I know you are angry, frustrated and ready to throw your hands up in the air. Continue trying, continuing inspiring and give yourself a big hug and a high five for persevering!
Comment by Dee on October 6, 2012 at 6:09pm I am grateful for your patient and persevering attitude! I know how hard you work, and I know I've read over and over again that it's those last few pounds that are toughest to bounce. Because you ARE already eating right and exercising, there aren't a million changes left to make. When you first start, you haven't been doing anything so every little change produces results. You're nearly at the finish line, and it's so much harder to see results. Maybe it will all be about the snacks- getting those healthy at all times, and maybe that will be the one last change to push you over the finish line.
???????
I thought surely you'd see a difference using mfp and eating your exercise calories!
(Then again, I wasn't doing as challenging of workouts as you are!)
They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result. I'm glad you're open to trying new things so you won't be "insane". BTW-not meaning the workout name--that just happens to be a coinkidink! :P So---you're coming closer to the end of your 60 days. What will you do if you see no change in inches or poundage since starting? We should sculpt a plan of attack just in case.
There are many options to try such as:
zigzagging--I wouldn't recommend it long term, but, to maybe it would break a plateau
dr visits--to make sure there's nothing physically wrong like thyroid etc working against you
mediterranean diet- in case your body is clinging to fat from lack of fat?
health club membership--perhaps you need a coach or guide to give you a good start & motivation?
Many many different ideas besides these. Keep your chin up!
