Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Tonight my muscles are crying but I needed a tough workout. I made some good and some bad choices this week, but I am going to bed satisfied. Over all it has been a good week. I am kicking it with Insanity and as for diet, I would say I hit the 80% healthy eating. After weigh in tomorrow we'll see how much damage there has been. I've been doing some stress eating and for some reason I have truly been hungry. Maybe there are days when we need more food. Maybe my body is burning more calories?? A girl can dream can't she? Although I did not hit my goal with Dee for 10 by 10/01, we are going to do another challenge right Dee? Maybe something not so aggressive for a slow loser like me. My Bob tip for the day is he had a hunger scale and that while in the losing phase, shoot to be on the hunger scale at satisfied but could eat a little more. That is me tonight. My gratitude journal entries today are

1. I am grateful I have a caring husband

2. I am grateful it is Friday.

I was doing Insanity until I pulled a muscle in my back. I cannot wait to get on it again.

I'm glad you had a good week! The hunger scale is tough sometimes. I feel like if you really do feel that hungry it's better to eat more at the time than pay for it by binging later.

I hear you about being hungry more.  I think it must be the added muscle upping metabolism....or something!  It's been hard to stick to my WW pointsplus goal.

Can I do a challenge with you too?  A small one?  When I do muscle work I am always more hungry.  I think the theory behind that is that the more muscle your body has the more it is burning calories throughout the day.  When we do cardio- we burn a lot of calories all at once but muscle work leaves us burning calories all day.  That is what a trainer had told me once.

Whoo-HOO for this NSV: "I would say I hit the 80% healthy eating". To me, achieving that is pretty close to the top of the mountain. Really, really good job getting to 80% on the eating. I'm game for a challenge- maybe we should pick a nonweight goal like "healthy snacks all day, 5 days per week". A nonweight goal that focuses on changing some habit we know is likely to push the scale down. What do you think? And the timeline could be, Dec. 31.
