Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

My cousin has finished C25k and is now training for a 1/2 marathon. She is the only one i know that had completed the program so I messaged her and td her I was starting c25k and she would be my checkin buddy. Well I haven't messaged her in a while so she messaged me the conversation went as follows :
Cuz: Soooo? How is it going?!?! Did you get new shoes?
Me: I'm really glad you asked... It's making me think about why I'm HAVEN'T done wk 4 d 3.
1st problem is legit I had foot pain. Best way to describe it is I felt like I was walking with my sock rolled down around that middle of my foot and it hurt to step (let alone run) I iced it for a few day and tried to stay off it. This helped a lot! The 2nd reason for not doing wk 4 d 3 is mental. I did wk 1-3 no issues and with the big increase of running I feel defeated. Now clearly the rational side of me says " dumb ass you sat your fat ass on the couch not running and you expect to be able to run just like that, yeah right!" but the don't like "failing" side says " if you don't do it you can't fail!" but then the rational side say " but if you don't try you can't succeed either!!!" 
Ok ok , I'm going to the gym in the morning and I WILL COMPLETE WK 4 D3!

I'll message you tomorrow after I complete ( probably with a few extra walks ) wk4d3!!

That my friends is the craziness on my head!
I will also post here after I complete my running!

She's right-yay for getting  back in the game--but if you had some time out due to injury, shouldn't you either start from the beginning or take it back a couple of weeks?
