Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

Day.32-35. Had my cake and ate it too!

Friday 32 I did not feel like going to the gym when my boyfriend got home from work so I took the kiddos (boys) for a walk. They did great for a while then the youngest kept pulling me in the direction of the house and sitting down every few feet. The oldest was too cool for us and walked a few feet behind us. It was funny if we slowed down so he could catch up he would slow down too. But we managed about 40 minutes with some jogging AKA catch me if you can lol
Saturday 33 Birthday party! I ate before I went and arrived a little late so I was able to eat just a little( 1 slice grilled fresh mozzarella spinach pizza and I picked out broccoli from the pasta salad) I also ran around after my godson and fed him so I was busy. I even resisted muddy buddy!!! Not even one piece of the yummy chex cereal covered in melted PB and chocolate covered in powdered sugar   I KNEW if I started I would never stop! I did budget in a small piece of cake with a small dollop of ice cream and was completely satisfied!
Sunday 34 ANOTHER birthday party...2 actually. I did well at both. Had my cake and ate it too!
Monday 35 back to School for me! I started my last semester of grad school today. I liked my class and professor. We shall see how the other 2 classes are, fingers crossed they are just like today's. Worked out with my boyfriend again. I have to work on taking his corrections as a positive and not get defensive. It's hard a get easily frustrated with myself when I'm not doing it as he just explained even though I feel like I am!! And then of course I get snippy with him and all he's trying to do us help! I'm working on it though it will be a long time before I master this ...
Off to bed! Between starting class running errands and working out I'm EXHAUSTED!! Sweet dreams/ good morning depending on where you're at ;0)

Even though kids are stuffed full of energy, it seems like when it comes to formal exercise, they tend to "poop out" quicker--or maybe it's their attention span rather than their energy that disappears.

My daughter is 9 and when I try to get her to walk on the track with me, she loses interest in 30 minutes or so.

The Kid used to be like that, but he has gotten so much better, he can ride his bike for hours, much more then mom!  Good job with a challenging weekend!
