MIssion 2 complete! I did 3.25 miles on Zombies, Run. Even with the completed mission, it's fun to hear the little radio transmissions at the end. I think I'm ready for my 5K, from what I know of the area, it's not hilly, like where I'm at, that's a relief, so it should be a quicker run for me. My times on these hill are slower then I'm used to, but on the treadmill I'm still doing my 'normal' time.
Today was pretty busy, Volunteer Meetings (this school likes meetings!), Run, Breakfast, Shop, Shop for Kid, Pick Kid Up, Play Date, Boy Scout Meeting. Now, I'm kicking back and relaxing! Husband is on a business trip, so noodles and wine for me, then off to bed!
Went to Old Navy and sucked it up and bought some Skinny Jeans. I've been coveting skinny jeans for a long time, but just hadn't bought any. Good news is, I'm didn't need to go a size up. It's so weird, at Gap, i'm generally a 12, at Old Navy I'm a 14. Bought size 14 Old Navy Skinnies. I tried on a pair of 16's but they sagged on my butt, so that's a good thing! I put them on the minute I got home and I thin they may be my new favorite pair of jeans! I may even go crazy and buy a second pair of skinny jeans, oh the horror!
Other then that, all in all, a good day!
Cheers ~ lynette

Comment by Brandy on September 8, 2012 at 10:25am Lynette--first off congrats on the zombie run! Second, I too recently bought some skinnies. Three pairs to be exact! My hubby was with me and asked me why I needed three pairs. This was my excuse: the first pair was a skinny jean, the second pair were technically jeggings, and the third pair were "straight leg". Ahahahaha, they all looked pretty similar though! I got mine at Lane Bryant, but their size 14s were just this shy of being too big, though.
Comment by Cindy on September 8, 2012 at 12:03pm Congrats on the Zombie run - even though I have no idea what that is! It does sound like fun. AT has mentioned it several times.
Congrats on your new jean purchase! I had to Google 'skinny jeans' to find out what they were! I've always just thought skinny jeans were the pair you owned that were the smallest size. The company I looked up, www.skinnyjeans.com, has all different colors. They are really cool looking!

Comment by Dee on September 10, 2012 at 7:43pm Jeans are the ultimate victory- especially skinny jeans! I might be jumping on the Zombie Run wagon- sounds fun and motivating! Maybe that will help me get faster. I'm slowing way down on my pace.
