No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
Last night I was too tired to post, but I had a great food day and I did Insanity. I can't believe I have completed 3 weeks of it already. Today is weigh in and sadly there was no loss. I am kind of bummed out. I've been doing everything right for the last 3 weeks and only lost 1 pound. But it is a loss, but at this rate, Dee is bound to beat me on the 3 by 10/01...I am so mad that my body has decided to become so damn difficult. I feel my jeans are fitting slightly better in the thigh area. They were getting so snug! So I will consider that a NSV.
Comment by Brandy on September 8, 2012 at 2:55pm Hey, you still are headed in the right direction. The scale will catch up eventually. It always takes my body a while to readjust after starting something new. It's a good thing you are using how your clothes fit as a better indicator! That's way more accurate!
Comment by Angie Y on September 8, 2012 at 6:28pm You are amazing, you are doing great, you are fine. Who cares what that stupid damn scale says. Look at what you are able to do..INSANITY....come on now....that in itself is a great achievement. A lot people would not be able to stick to that program it takes a lot of hard work and dedication. Which makes you a fucking BADASS. <3
Comment by Jessica on September 8, 2012 at 9:58pm Inches matter more than pounds.
I know it's rough though--totally btdt--you can try the thing I told you about in the msg. That might help.
Oh-and don't overlook the muscle factor--your endurance is up because your body has adjusted to the exercises by building appropriate muscle. More muscle=more weight. The more muscle, the more calories your body burns at rest even. Maybe it will take time for things to level out, too--like for your body to finally stop making muscle so the weight loss shows---oh-and if your muscle is repairing itself you can also retain fluid.
Keep all of that in mind. :)
Comment by Dee on September 10, 2012 at 7:39pm Loose-fitting jeans- that is definitely an NSV! I'm sorry you're not seeing the numbers you want- I know how hard you are working. Don't count yourself out of 3-by10/01 just yet- I have been avoiding the scale because the last week of August I was no eating role model. I'm trying to give my new eating style a chance before peeking at the scale. I think I COULD get to 3lbs lost, if I haven't gained any and if I stay committed to healthy eating. We'll see.
